Attempting to be 'Faithful Meg'

Contemplation on life, faith, ministry, and motherhood; Knowing I don't always get it right

Meet Meg August 11, 2011

Hello! I’m Meg Nelson, and welcome to my blog where I’ll share ideas on ministry, motherhood, and the meaning of life- my attempts (and sometimes failures) to stay faithful through it all!  I’ve been known for my bursts of posts followed by a long hiatus, but I hope to find a groove with this blogging thing eventually!

Here’s the laundry list version of my bio:

FAMILY:  Married to Tim, Mom to  our little boy,  “Squilly” (a nickname that was given by my Young Life friends for him) We live south of Boston.

MINISTRY: Part-time family ministry at United Church of Norwood, Volunteer leader for Boston South-West Young Life, On-call facilitator for Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children training.

EDUCATION: BA in Youth Ministries from Gordon College, Masters of Theological Studies from Boston University School of Theology.

I am passionate about partnering with others in ministry as they feel encouraged and supported in ministry- especially fellow New Englanders!  I have a lot to share through my education and experiences- I hope this can be a place where that can start to happen! See the page on Youth Leader Advocacy for ways I can partner with you in ministry!
